Would
you like to share your ideas on redeeming the time with thousands of
Christians and non-believers all over the world? You can!
Just
send your idea to us. We’re always looking for new ideas for our
programs. If you’d like to take it a step further, maybe you’d even
like to write a script for a radio program. Here are the
guidelines:

It must be between 150
and 175 words long. One minute programs are actually 59 seconds
long to allow the station time to transition between programs
without cutting the last second off of one of them. The
introduction and conclusion to a program takes about 6-9 seconds
which only leaves about 50 seconds of teaching time.

Your program can be
either motivational (Here’s a reason why we should redeem the
time) or instructional (Here’s a way you can redeem the time.)

The program should
begin with an attention grabber. It can be a joke, a quote, a
question, an unusual fact, a short story or anything else that
will make a person want to tune in and listen.

The script should end
with the phrase “redeem the time or redeeming the time.”
We’ll
let you know if we choose your idea or script. Of course, your
submission becomes the property of LCS but you can certainly
continue to use it any way you like. Because our format is so short
we regret we won’t be able to recognize you by name when using your
idea or script. But God promises that no small deed done in his
name will be unnoticed in eternity!
